Today, November 22, 2023, the ringing of the bell ceremony was organized in the trading hall of the “Mongolian Stock Exchange” JSC and started the primary market trading for the "Omni asset" asset-backed securities offered publicly by the "Omni Capital NBFI" LLC.

At the ceremony, Kh.Altai, Chief Executive Officer of the “Mongolian Stock Exchange” JSC, Ch.Erelkheg, Chief Executive Officer of "Omni Capital NBFI" LLC, B.Lkhamdolgor, Executive Director of “Apex Capital” LLC, and other officials participated and rang the bell to open the trading session.

Kh.Altai, Chief Executive Officer of the “Mongolian Stock Exchange” JSC, opened and stated, Congratulations to all the individuals gathered here today. In the year 2020, the Mongolian Stock Exchange established a legal framework for open, asset-backed securities (ABS), paving the way for the launch of this product in the capital market. Presently, "Omni Capital NBFI" LLC is offering a second ABS product to potential investors.

Introducing a new product to the market is a multifaceted endeavor that involves the collaboration of securities firms, legal consulting firms, auditors, and valuation firms. Hence, I extend my congratulations to the entire team who diligently contributed to the process of offering this ABS to the public, and I wish them immense success in their endeavors.

2023 marks a year of significant activity and new historical highs in the Mongolian Stock Exchange (MSE) and the Mongolian capital market environment. Notably, this year banking reform was carried out in the Mongolian capital market, and five banks became public companies through the Mongolian Stock Exchange. Additionally, the Mongolian Stock Exchange introduced the trading of commodities, which are Mongolia's primary export products. These developments have led to a total trading value of six trillion MNT as of yesterday, surpassing the previous record. Furthermore, the securities market capitalization stands at 10.2 trillion MNT, equivalent to approximately 20% of the GDP.
