The Mongolian Stock Exchange successfully commenced trading of iron ore concentrate on September 15, 2023, and currently organized a total of 113,400 tons of iron ore concentrates trading.

During the initial trading of iron ore concentrate, a total of 72,000 tons of iron ore featuring a concentration of 65% Fe from "Mongolrostsvetmet" SOE and 6,800 tons of iron ore with a concentration of 58% from "Darkhan Metallurgical Plant" LLC were successfully traded and as a result of trading, the price increased by 10-50 percent.

The first delivery of iron ore concentrate started on October 4, 2023, and the following day October 5, 2023, the first 100 wagons of iron ore concentrate sold by "Mongolrostsvetmet" SOE were transported via rail from the terminal of the "Bor-undur" mining plant to the Port of Ereen, China. Furthermore, the transportation of the first 50 wagons of iron ore concentrate of "Darkhan Metallurgical Plant" LLC begins on October 6, 2023.

During the transportation of iron concentrate from "Mongolrostsvetmet" SOE, a comprehensive quality analysis of the samples was conducted in accordance with the established standards of the accredited testing laboratory of the Mongolia Stock Exchange. The inland customs office diligently carried out the necessary customs clearance procedures, while the representatives of the Mongolia Stock Exchange diligently oversaw the adherence to all relevant laws and regulations at the site.
