Erdene Resource Development Corporation presented the results of the exploration program carried out in the Dark Horse field, which is part of the Bayankhundi gold project. Erdene recently completed a shallow drilling and geophysical exploration program across the greater Dark Horse prospect at the Bayan Khundii Gold Project. The program included an 18-hole scout exploration drilling campaign, totaling 1,040 metres, and a gradient array induced polarization (IP) geophysical survey covering ninesquare kilometres over the core of the greater Dark Horse prospect.

"As a result of the drilling program," the corporation stated, "several new prospective areas have been identified, including the 20 square kilometer Dark Horse field, which has shown the possibility of containing high-grade gold mineralization."
