The official visit of Mongolian Prime Minister OYUN-ERDENE Luvsannamsrai to the People's Republic of China is on its third day. This visit is significant for further expanding and developing the comprehensive strategic partnership between Mongolia and China, as well as enhancing practical cooperation in all sectors.

Within the framework of this visit, on June 28, 2023, ALTAI Khangai, the Chief Executive Officer of the Mongolian Stock Exchange, and CAI Jianchun, the President of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on cooperation.

Under the provisions of the memorandum, the two exchanges agreed to cooperate in several key areas, including the sharing of market information between the two exchanges, the stock, debt instruments, and investment fund product development, the enhancement of corporate governance practices, the facilitation of meetings and seminars, as well as the development of joint infrastructure and products.

In 2021, the Mongolian Stock Exchange and the Shanghai Stock Exchange established a collaborative partnership, which led to the successful organization of the esteemed "Mongolia Capital Markets Day 2021" webinar. This notable event attracted participation from over 50 esteemed representatives from investment funds and securities companies in Shanghai.
